A hardy, dense multistem evergreen shrub with a wide-spreading, ground-hugging habit of growth. Lowest growing horizontal juniper. Extremely adaptable. Features silver-blue foliage throughout the season, taking on a purple tinge in fall. Produces blue berries in late spring. These berries are held right through to late winter. Excellent for trailing over walls. Deer do not particularly care for this plant.
