A dense multistem shrub, with a compact form and non-suckering habit. Dark red branches show up well against the snow, providing a significant winter interest. Clusters of fragrant white blooms in spring, followed by white berries. Features dark green foliage throughout the season, turning to a red colour in fall. Deer do not particularly care for this plant.

Optimal Growing Conditions:

  • Plant in a full sun to partial shade location

  • Prune immediately after flowering to avoid removing any of the current seasons flowers
