A vigorous, dense, multistem deciduous shrub with an upright, spreading habit of growth. Single, lightly scented, pinkish-purple blooms in late spring. Blooms emerge from distinctive purple flower buds. Features pointy, forest green foliage throughout the season turning to a yellow colour in fall. Allow room for air movement. Non-suckering.
